We are still accepting applications for August 2025. There is a $150 application fee per child. The fee can be paid by check to Headwaters Academy (42W420 Campton Hills Rd, Elburn 60119) or electronically on the application form.

Enrollment Process

Step one is an introduction and tour of the space. Please communicate an interest in touring the academy here.
Following a tour, please submit an application to Headwaters Academy. The application communicates an intent to move forward. There is currently a $150 nonrefundable fee per application. The application can be found here.
Once the application fee is received, additional details may be requested including but not limited to home environment, previous education, and details about the child in order for the teaching staff to assess a mutual fit.
The teaching staff meets the child, ideally for a shadow day.
While Headwaters is in launch phase, shadow day will be amended to simulate an education experience at the academy.
If a mutual fit is determined, an acceptance offer letter will be extended from the academy director.
Upon receipt of the acceptance offer letter, families will have a period of time to register. First month’s tuition will be due at registration. Tuition information is available here.
